G.A. 2020 was held virtually this year on Zoom in June. The theme was ‘Lament to Action’. The Assembly called the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) to focus on justice, working to respond to what some referred to as the ‘two pandemics’ of COVID-19 and racial injustice. The assembly elected Elona Street-Stewart, an Indigenous ruling elder, and Rev. Gregory Bentley, a Black minister, as Co-Moderators. Holy Week and Easter
Our Easter season is full of events for all ages! March 6-April 14th we have a special theme ‘Unafraid” sermon series, classes, readings, and a Mosaic being created in the Cafe! Lent Theme: “Unafraid”
In the six weeks before Easter (the season of Lent), we are studying Adam Hamilton’s book “Unafraid”, in a special Sunday school class, sermon series, readings, and even a Mosaic we are making the Cafe during worship each week! Youth Cafe Bingo Fundraiser!
Join us for a Youth Cafe Fundraiser, Saturday August 25th at 6pm at the Cafe. Bingo cards will be $10 each, (and other donations accepted), for this important outreach to Owasso teens! Prizes will include meals and gifts from local merchants. Bring your friends, and support the Cafe! Volunteer Appreciation!
On Sunday July 29th the Staff honored 89 volunteers in the church for their humble service to our church family, our community, and our Savior! This is an incredible display of ministry at FPCO! Big Questions Big God Confirmation Class
Youth in 6-12th grades are invited to join our Confirmation Class, starting on Wednesday, August 29th with Pastor Natalie and our Youth Minister Sara Davis. This 12 week class is about the basics of faith in the Presbyterian church, and will end with students joining the church!
Fall Classes Resume
Fall Youth and Kids programs on Wednesdays from 6-7:30pm will resume on Wednesday August 29th, for ages K-12th grade! We’ll share dinner then split into separate classes.
Youth Cafe During School Shutdown!
Youth Cafe will be OPEN during the Owasso school shutdown, starting April 2nd, each day 12-4pm for 6-12th graders with school ID. Free food, wifi, games. Still looking for more adult volunteers, and donations!
Be a Grandpal
A Grandpal is any adult that has a heart for the children in our congregation. It’s being a secret pal to a child for a few weeks this Spring. Each child has filled out an information sheet about themselves. You can choose one of their information sheets on Sunday, March 4th. Then each week following you can secretly leave notes of encouragement, little snacks or small gifts, favorite Bible verses, etc. to connect with your chosen child. We will have…
